Returns & Refunds

We want you to be glad you brought a JOSHU candle into your home. If something is not right, this page explains how returns and refunds work. JOSHU currently ships to and accepts returns from the United States only.
Return window
You may request a return within 14 days of the delivery date.
How to start a return
Email contact@joshu.online with your order number and the reason for the return. We will reply with return instructions and the return address. Please wait for our confirmation before sending anything back, so we can make sure your return is processed correctly.
Condition of returned items
For change-of-mind returns, items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging, including the ceramic vessel, steel lid, NFC card, and box. For safety and hygiene reasons, candles that have been burned or used cannot be returned for a change of mind. Damaged or defective items are covered separately below.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Please inspect your order on delivery. If anything arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at contact@joshu.online within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will replace the item or issue a full refund, including any shipping costs, at no charge to you.
Return shipping
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, JOSHU covers return shipping in full.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will issue your refund to the original payment method within 12 days. For eligible returns, this includes the original delivery cost. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund to your account. We do not charge a restocking fee.
Exchanges
If you would prefer a different scent, please start a return for the original item under this policy and place a new order for the item desired.
Non-returnable items
The following cannot be returned for a change of mind:
- Candles that have been burned or used
- Items not in their original condition or packaging
- Items marked final sale
This does not affect your rights regarding damaged or defective products.
Order cancellations
You may cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it, unless it has already been processed for shipment. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled, but you may return it under this policy.
